Curioposity Defined: To develop and maintain an eternal curious, inquisitive nature and as a result, always be inspired to ask the right questions and to always expect that the answers that you uncover, will somehow result in positive and exciting opportunities that will help create new and stirring possibilities in your life.
It’s pronounced Cur-i-o- pos-i-ty. It’s made up of the words Curiosity and Positivity. It’s my word. I created it . I could not find any word that would help me describe what I want to share with you.
Curiosity Defined: is a strong desire to know or learn something. the desire to learn or know about anything; inquisitiveness. Asking questions.
Positivity Defined: Possessing and embracing positive expectancy. Characterized by or displaying certainty, acceptance, or affirmation: the state or character of being positive.
The Power of Curioposity:
Inventors for Saccharin: Constantin Fahlberg and Ira Remsen Year: 1879
What Happened: After spending the day studying coal tar derivatives, Fahlberg left his Johns Hopkins laboratory and went to dinner. Big Discovery: Something he ate tasted particularly sweet, and out of curiosity he traced it to a chemical compound he’d spilled on his hand. Best of all, it turned out to be calorie-free. As a Result: He cut Remsen and the university out of millions of dollars when he secretly patented the breakthrough discovery, saccharin.
Inventors for Viagra: Scientists at Pfizer Year: 1992
What Happened: A Welsh hamlet was ground zero for a test on a pill to fight angina. Unfortunately for the afflicted, it had little success against the disease. Big Discovery: Though it didn’t work, the men taking part in the study refused to give up their medicine. As a Result: Out of intense curiosity the scientists investigated further and subsequently switched gears and marketed the drug, Viagra, for a very different purpose.
Inventors for Botox: Alastair and Jean Carruthers Year: 1987
What Happened: The couple were using small doses of a deadly toxin to treat ‘crossed eyes’ eyelid spasms and other eye-muscle disorders when they noticed an interesting side effect. Out of curiosity they did further research. Big Discovery: Wrinkles magically disappeared. As a Result: The expressionless face became the ‘it’ looks, thanks to Botox. We instinctively experience Curiosity every single day and many times a day. It’s usually on a subliminal level and not consciously recognized as “curiosity” because it’s stunted and enshrouded by your Curiosity Urchin.
Not to get in to the psychology of “it” but, the Curiosity Urchin is “born and bred” at an early age in your life. “Children should be seen and not heard”, “Do not speak until spoken to,” “Follow the rules.” Do these sound familiar?
Your Curiosity Urchin visits you every day, never takes a break and with “its” mischievous nature and fleeting inclination, “it” does not make for a very reliable friend and ally. “It’s” intention is not to hurt you but this impish and irreverent part of your essence is determined to play “it’s” favorite game of “Hide ‘n Seek” with you, with or without your approval.
As an unwitting participant you’re diverted, misdirected and are not aware of missed opportunities in life and business that flow around you 24/7. For all intents and purposes “it” is not on your side.
You need to wrestle control of your curiosity away from “it” if you expect to move your life from ordinary to extraordinary.
“Much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on.” Steve Jobs
Notice that Jobs says he “stumbled into” his ideas because of his curiosity and not because of any specific plan or event. He wasn’t specifically searching for a particular idea or product, but his curiosity inspired questions and the answers to those questions led him to his “priceless ideas” later on.
Job’s well developed “Curiosity on Steroids” was under his control and he achieved this control by the deliberate development and application of “it” functioning every minute of every day. He willingly and consciously mobilized and transformed his “Curiosity” into the mega super-power called “Curioposity.”
Important: Curiosity is initiated, developed, strengthened and maintained whenever you ask questions: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. Get curious. Make it a habit to wonder about anything and everything. Your life will never be the same.
“Curiosity” and “Questions” go hand in hand. They are inextricably interconnected to each other. One without the other, eviscerates and devitalizes the power of both.
As a kid I was very curious and inquisitive and the adults around me made it clear that I was a pain in the ass. They always had something to say in response to my questions. They said it with a smile, as if it was cute and that it was okay, that I ask too many questions, but their eyes told me another story.
It was no better as I got older. People do not like to be questioned. Period. Questions lead to answers and answers could lead to revelations of embarrassing, intimidating, indictable situations and “worse”, create feelings of inadequacy on the part of other people.
It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks my friends because, acknowledging, embracing and becoming comfortable with the fact that “Curiosity” is part of your personal Success Support Arsenal, will absolutely change your life in the most wonderful and inspirational ways.
Your “Curiosity” will become available to you 24/7 when making this conscious effort to respect “it” and give “it” the attention “it” deserves and most importantly, letting “it” freely exist to develop interdependently with you by “its” side.
This awareness in effect Kicks the Curiosity Urchin to the curb, and by you taking control, “it” will now allow you to sharpen and develop your perception and discernment skills more than ever before.
To Repeat: Curiosity is a strong desire to know or learn something. The desire to learn or know about anything; inquisitiveness. Asking questions.

Curiosity can lead you to success. Curiosity could help make all your dreams come true. Curiosity could save your life and the lives of the people who you love and who love you. Curiosity has, and will continue to, change the world in some of the most spectacular ways.

Your chances of success are much more powerful if you ignore everything you know and become a beginner. Let Curioposity do it’s magic. The number one stumbling block to success in life or business, the absolute number one obstacle, is “Not Knowing What You Don’t Know.”
Only having the confidence and strength to persist in asking questions can it help get many of the answers you need to “know what you don’t know” and as Steve Jobs did, “stumble” into your “priceless” situations that can lead to victory for your Success Quest.

Positive expectancy or expecting good things to happen to you and expecting victory is simply about acknowledging and embracing your “Birthright.”
No, it’s not your “right of possession” that we refer to. It’s your “Birthright” to be able to exercise the opportunity to tap in to having the “freedom of choice.” Your “Birthright” is also about having the desire and the expectation that good things could happen to you, and for you to have the strength and wisdom, to work through the “not so good” things.
Regarding success in your business and personal worlds: It’s your “Birthright” to put the world on notice with the declaration: “Why not me?” Think about it. Who decides if someone should be successful or not? No one that I’ve heard about. The only one that I would guess would have that power, would be you.
If you’re the only one who has that power, then why yield and turn your back on it? The only thing that would be stopping you from anything you want to do is only “You”
To activate and take control of your destiny, only takes 3 simple words to jump start a new course of action: “Why Not Me?
I’m not asking or suggesting that your self-confidence, self-image or ego be supercharged. I’m not concerned about any of those. Those are just extra baggage that weigh you down. I’m simply asking that you keep this one simple question in the forefront of your consciousness and to understand that this one simple question and it’s one, or many answers, can and will change your life for the better and beyond.
Your “Birthright” also gives you the extraordinary right and privilege to enthusiastically and realistically take to heart and declare the following:
1-“No matter what happens, no matter how brutal my reality is, I will Prevail;”
2-“I will be OK;” “I will succeed.”
3-” I deserve success.”
So what do you do when you ask yourself “Why Not Me?” and the excitement that you feel sets off a chain reaction when you answer that question with a reverberating “Yeah, what about me?”
I’m not trying to be your cheerleader and this is not about screaming how great you feel and how you’re going to be rich and famous. Rah-Rah-Rah.
This is about a responsibility you have to yourself to enjoy your life and try to make any and all of your goals and dreams come true. If you’re not happy or satisfied with where you are in life right now, then shift to a new road. It all starts with the simple question of “Why Not Me?”
